ACE acquires FANUC M3iA robot for new materials handling solutions

AUTOMATED Cells and Equipment (ACE) has acquired FANUC Robotics’ new M3iA parallel-link robot, said to provide its clients with a new materials handling solution.

According to ACE, the FANUC M3iA is suitable for high speed pick and place operations as well as complex assembly motions.

The M3iA is a 6kg payload high speed picking and assembly robot which is available in 4 or 6 axis versions. It also offers a 3 axis parallel link wrist option.

ACE says the robot also offers a hollow wrist for clean and simple routing of hoses and cables, up to 4000 degrees per second high speed motion and built-in iRVision capability requiring only a camera, cable and programming.

ACE is a certified servicing integrator for FANUC Robotics.
