Allied geomembrane companies to enhance water conservation

AUSTRALIA-based E&A has allied itself with a US-based group, in a move which will enhance the production and distribution of materials for water conservation and storage.

The alliance is between E&A subsidiary Fabtech SA, and New York-based Layfield Geosynthetics and Industrial Fabrics.

Both companies produce advanced materials such as storage dams, floating covers and other membranes and liners for the collection, conservation and storage of water, wastewater and biogas.

The alliance will see Layfield’s products supplied, distributed and promoted by Fabtech in Australia, as well as technology transfer. The companies are expected to enhance biogas collection science, which has the potential to become a major new source of industrial energy.
