GEELONG-based Austeng has been inducted into the Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame.

On 4 September 2009, Victoria’s Industry and Trade Minister, Martin Pakula, visited Austeng’s headquarters with a number of local MPs to congratulate the company on its achievement.

Austeng employs 30 people, and is now successfully trading through joint ventures to supply Indian markets.

Austeng is involved in engineering solutions in a wide range of areas, including specialised materials handling, conveyors, hydraulics and pneumatics, vibratory equipment, electrical and control, ovens and furnaces including cremators, robotics, pumps, pressure vessels, high shear mixers and container tippers.

The Victorian Manufacturing Hall of Fame recognises the achievement of local manufacturers in their pursuit of excellence.

Austeng also has a strong focus on cemetery and crematoria equipment, and developed machinery guards equipment to meet occupational health and safety challenges.
