Breakfast seminars on carbon emissions from supply chain

ORGANISERS of the Smart 2009 Conference have invited industry professionals to a series of breakfast seminars which will focus on carbon dioxide emissions.

The IBM-hosted event will take place at the Hilton in Sydney on 14 October 2008 and the Park Hyatt in Melbourne on 15 October 2008.

The seminar is expected to provide insight on the supply chain’s role in reducing carbon and contributing to growth in an increasingly environmentally-aware society.

It will also focus on how companies can ‘do well by doing good’. By developing an overall supply chain strategy or by reducing their emissions footprint, companies can strengthen brand image and develop competitive advantage.

Tickets for the events cost $66 each.
