CB&I to build LNG and condensate tanks for Chevron Australia

Chevron Australia has awarded a $623m dollar contract to CB&I to built LNG and condensate storage tanks at its Gorgon LNG liquefaction project on Barrow Island.

CB&I will engineer, procure, fabricate and construct two 180,000 cubic metre full containment LNG tanks, four condensate tanks and the associated piping, electrical, instrumentation and civil works.

According to CB&I, its portion of the project is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of 2013.
