Monadelphous wins $85m piping engineering works with Rio Tinto Iron Ore

MONADELPHOUS will construct structural, mechanical and piping works for Rio Tinto Iron Ore’s Phase I of the Brockman 4 development in WA.

The $85m contract will see Monadelphous carry out structural, mechanical and piping works for the supply, preassembly and installation of the dry processing system which comprises primary crushing, secondary crushing, product screening, stockyards and train load out facilities.

According to Monadelphous, the Brockman 4 project is one in a long line of successful projects for Rio Tinto Iron Ore.

Project works will commence immediately with most of it completed by the third quarter of 2010.
