ABB Australia says it will be demonstrating the future of materials handling robotics at AUSPACK from 16 to 19 June 2009, with its IRB 360 FlexPicker.
ABB will be at Stand 282 during AUSPACK. Visitors to the stand will see the FlexPicker IRB 360 second generation high speed picking robot demonstrating its moves by playing a word game similar to Scrabble.
According to ABB, the FlexPicker IRB 360 robot offers faster processing, accuracy and faster payback for packaging applications. It can handle heavier objects and accommodate the mass of sophisticated grippers required in handling diverse products.
Additionally, the FlexPicker IRB 360 robot is said to have a small footprint, saving time, space and money.
Visitors to ABB’s Stand 282 can also see the IRB 260, IRB 140 and IRB 1600 robots operating in a multi-move system playing an interactive dice game.
