EXAIR says there is a better alternative to mechanical pumps when it comes to lifting, clamping, mounting and placement.
While mechanical vacuum pumps have been around for a long time, they can take up a lot of space, frequently experience fluctuations, and have moving parts which wear out. These types of pumps are also expensive.
According to EXAIR, it has developed a new type of vacuum generators which use compressed air. The E-Vac vacuum generators are said to be highly efficient, minimising air consumption while providing instantaneous response.
The single-stage vacuum pumps are available in a variety of sizes and flows, and suited for a range of applications. They are also maintenance free.
E-Vac is available in two different styles. The low vacuum units up to 71kPa are suited for porous materials such as cardboard. The high vacuum units up to 91kPa are suited for non-porous materials like glass, steel sheet and plastic.
