EXIMO has released a medium weight and flexible polyurethane general-purpose ducting for the food industry.
According to the company, the FoodFlex ducting is clear, allowing constant inspection of the product as it travels along the system.
It is reinforced by a powder-coated spring steel helix which runs throughout the length of the ducting.
The ducting also contains an organic compound which is resistant to mould, fungus microbes and hydrolysis. Unlike coatings, this compound will continue to be effective even as the wall deteriorates.
The product can be used for suction and transport of lightweight materials in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
