EXAIR has released the Adjustable E-Vac series of compressed air powered vacuum generators suited for pick and place operations, clamping, lifting, and chucking.
According to EXAIR, the Adjustable E-Vac are low-cost vacuum pumps which are maintenance free and have no moving parts to wear out.
EXAIR says the Adjustable E-Vac minimizes compressed air use by allowing it to be tuned to the application. The vacuum and flow levels can be changed to overcome porosity and increase or decrease the lifting power.
The Adjustable E-Vac vacuum generator has a straight-through, single stage aluminium construction which requires no vacuum filter and passes contaminants from dirty environments through the unit, eliminating clogging and loss of suction.
EXAIR’s Adjustable E-Vac is available in four sizes with adjustable vacuum rates up to 85kPa and flow rates up to 81 SCFM.
