EXAIR has released its new heavy duty Threaded Line Vac conveyors which convert ordinary pipes into conveying systems for bulk materials.
The EXAIR Vac conveyors can be used for steel shot, metal parts, scrap and trim. EXAIR claims it designed the Vac conveyors for rugged industrial applications. A hardened alloy construction prevents premature wear.
The heavy duty Threaded Line Vac conveyor features large throat diameters that make it possible to convey more material over long vertical and horizontal lengths. The conveying rate is typically twice that of ordinary air powered conveyors.
According to EXAIR, the heavy duty Threaded Line Vac conveyors eject a small amount of compressed air through directed nozzles to produce a vacuum on one end, creating high output flows on the other.
The conveying rate is controlled via a pressure regulator on the compressed air supply. The Vac conveyor comes in five sizes up to 51mm, and fits standard plumbing pipe and couplers.
The EXAIR Vac conveyor can be used for transferring bulk materials and parts, hopper loading, waste/trim removal, fibre tensioning, chip removal, and filling operations.
