PENTAIR Industrial has released the Pureflex Series of filter cartridges, said to be highly efficient and chemically compatible for a range of filtration applications.
According to Pentair Industrial, the Pureflex filter cartridges are manufactured in a variety of sizes and diameters, micron ratings, and end cap configurations. Pentair Industrial can also supply housings for the cartridges.
The Pureflex Series of filter cartridges are suited for filtration in chemical, pharmaceutical, food and beverage manufacturing industries. Pentair Industrial says all models of its Pureflex filter cartridges undergo rigorous and third-party testing.
The PF-200AB and PFN-200 Absolute and Nominal Pleated Polypropylene Filter Cartridges are high-efficiency chemical- and bacteria-resistant filters. These filters are made with Silicone, Buna-N, Neoprene and Viton gaskets and o-rings, and have high-dirt holding capacity.
Larger sizes in the Pureflex Series include the Pureflex Max Series PF-300AB cartridges, available in 9.5cm diameters, and operating at 99.98% efficiency at Beta 5000 micron size.
A 100% polypropylene media runs the full length of the Pureflex Max Series PF-300AB cartridge. Standard nylon end caps, and optional steel end caps and centre core allows the PF-300AB a cartridge life four times longer than the 6.35cm cartridges.
The largest filter cartridge in the Pureflex Series is the PF-600AB. It has a 15.2 or 16.5cm diameter. Pentair Industrial claims the PF-600AB filter cartridge has 20 to 40 times fewer element change-outs than comparable standard diameter models.
