PENTAIR Industrial has released a liquid filtration system suited for high-flow-rate applications in food and beverage, chemical, cosmetics, electronics and other sectors.
The Aqualine Liquid Filtration System has a rugged 20.32cm diameter fibreglass housing said to be durable and cheaper than stainless steel alternatives.
According to the manufacturer, pleated cartridge construction and an outside-in flow pattern provides maximum flow rates with the lowest possible pressure drop. A vertical rack design allows housings to be stacked to reduce floor space and increase total flow.
The system also has a quick-change design which allows the cartridges to be accessed and replaced in minutes without using nuts or bolts. Isolation valving allows a single element to be replaced while the whole system remains in operation to eliminate downtime.
The cartridges are made of absolute-rated polypropylene media and contain a PVC core and a proprietary o-ring seal.
