EXIMO has released a thin gauge, stainless steel industrial ducting product in Australia.

The company’s Speedlock S.75 is has a wall thickness of 0.75mm, but is said to retain its strength and stability in service.

According to the company, it decided to develop the product due to market demand. Clients were seeking a light, relocatable product that did not sacrifice strength and capability in industrial applications.

The manufacturer says its stainless steel item range is stronger than its galvanised steel products. It has therefore produced its galvanised version of the ducting at 1mm wall thickness, compared to the 0.75mm thickness for the stainless steel version. Both versions have the same strength and durability.

The company claims the thin gauge is lighter, allowing safer handling. The stainless steel version can also be used for food processing and pharmaceutical applications.

The company provides various accessories for the ducting pipes such as bending pieces, telescopic pieces, branch pieces, T pieces, Y pieces and reducing cones.

Hose spigots, throttle valves and blast gates can also be fitted onto the pipes.
