EXAIR has released the Super Ion Air Wipe which provides a uniform 360 degree ionised airstream for eliminating static electricity and contaminants from continuously moving parts.
According to the company, the Super Ion Air Wipe clamps around the parts, removing dust, particulates and shocks on pipes, cables, extruded shapes, hoses, and wires.
The product uses a small amount of compressed air to entrain high volumes of room air. It then uses ionising points to fill the airstream with ions which eliminate static.
The wiping force can be controlled with an optional pressure regulator. Static neutralisation starts at five PSIG, and higher pressure can be used for high speed processes a nd over long distance.
